The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe (Preview)

  • The Living Room Theatre 1818 McGee Street Kansas City, MO, 64108 United States (map)

[I'm behind the scenes on this project as a writer and collaborator!]

Set in the 1920's during the decline of Vaudeville and the rise of Hollywood, The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe tracks the journey of an ultra-sharp but down-on-their-luck comedy duo as they navigate the rapidly changing world of entertainment.

This silly and joyous musical comedy opened to packed houses and standing ovations at the 2015 Fringe Festival, and now it returns to The Living Room as a full length, fully produced show! Penned by Brian HutherBen Auxier, and Seth Macchi of Friend Dog Studios, The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe features the return of co-stars Macchi and Michael Hudgens in a world populated with dozens of characters portrayed by versatile ensemble players Kris Stoker, Molly Denninghoff, Mike Ott, Ellen Kirk, Joshua Gleeson, and Elise Poehling.
